SupAgro is a French higher university specialising in agriculture and agronomy situated on la Gaillarde campus in Montpellier. It trains students in most of the agronomy and life sciences fields. It is part of Agropolis Fondation. The Montpellier INRA research center is also located on la Gaillarde campus[1].
With an aim of boosting its credentials, SUPAGRO has linked itself with the prestigious Imperial College, London in the UK, The University of Wisconsin at Madison, The University of Göttingen and The University of Helsinki by offering ERASMUS exchanges.
The social elite of SUPAGRO are dominated by the ERASMUS community, where numerous high profile events have taken place including: The villa, Spain, The Finnish party, and Pimm's at Sundown (not to mention the many - a - MacDo visit in desire of a hang over cure).
Personalities
- Pierre Galet (born 1921), a French ampelographer, has worked at the École nationale supérieure agronomique de Montpellier.
- Constantin Mimi (1868-1935), a Bessarabian politician and winemaker graduated from SupAgro.
