The ride is able to exceed 64 mph (103 km/h) and runs through the ride in fifty-eight seconds. It is considered the greatest roller coaster of Brazil, it's the fifth largest wooden roller coaster in the world and the largest in Latin America.
This roller coaster was built in 18 months. More than 1500 people of the RCCA (Roller Coaster Corporation of America) worked to build Montezum.
The ride has two trains with four cars and the passengers are arranged two across in three rows. It's located in Mistieri area of the park.
In the called Hora do Horror, event that usually happen in August and September, Montezum has one of their two trains moving backwards. At this time, Montezun has it name changed to Direversi.
