Monk-e-Mail is a free, online website/software powered by addcast and made by CareerBuilder which people can create e-mails with the use of talking monkeys. It was released on January 25, 2006 and updated in 2010 as named "Monk-e-Mail 2.0". A software called "Monk-e-Maker" was released the same day.
Monk-e-Mail 1.0
Monk-e-Mail 1.0 was released on January 25, 2006. When a Person first opens the Software, It starts with a monkey saying "Welcome to Monk-e-Mail. You got something to say, I gotta nap to take, So lets get going.".
There are three chimps to choose from. They are named "The Boss", "The Co-worker", and "The Receptionist". The Boss is a male monkey with Gray Fur who is Fat. The Co-worker is also a Male, Only his fur is Black and he's less fat than "The Boss". But The Receptionist is the only Female Monkey and she's smaller than the other 2 chimps. People can stylized their monkeys by choosing their headgear, clothes, glasses, background and other stuff. For Adding Audio, People can use Text-to-Speech (There only are 4 Voices) or Record their Voice using Microphone or Any kind of Phone. When Recording their voice with phone, they can record up to a minute. But when using a Microphone, They can only record up to 20 secs. They can preview their work after adding audio to the monkey. They can email it to their friends or post it on Twitter.[1]
