Molar Massif

Molar Massif (71°38′S 163°45′E / 71.633°S 163.75°E / -71.633; 163.75) is a large mountain massif immediately east of Lanterman Range in the Bowers Mountains. Mapped by United States Geological Survey (USGS) from ground surveys and U.S. Navy air photos, 1960-64. The descriptive name was applied by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN). When viewed in plan, the outline of the massif resembles a molar tooth.
