Mohammed M.S. Jan (http://mmjan.kau.edu.sa/CVEn.aspx?Site_ID=0002449&Lng=EN) is a Professor and Consultant of Pediatric Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology, Department of Pediatrics, Faculty of Medicine, King Abdulaziz University (http://www.kau.edu.sa), Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Prof. Jan graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, king Abdulaziz University in Jeddah with an excellent grade (honor degree). He received post-graduate training at Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Prof. Jan obtained several certificates including the American Board of Pediatrics, Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) in Pediatrics, FRCPC in Neurology, EMG and EEG Certification by the Canadian Society of Clinical Neurophysiologists. He has more than 80 publications in peer reviewed national and international journals (http://mmjan.kau.edu.sa/Default.aspx?site_id=0002449&lng=AR). Currently, Prof. Jan is an active member of several national and international organizations including the Saudi Chapter of Epilepsy, the Saudi Epilepsy Society (http://saudiepilepsysociety.org), the american Epilepsy Society, and the International Child Neurology Association. He also serves on several editorial and review boards of several national and international journals. Prof. Jan received several awards including two Merit awards, a Post-doctoral Research Award, three Recognition Awards, and three Research Excellence awards (http://www.kau.edu.sa/content.aspx?Site_ID=0&LNG=AR&cid=22882&URL=www.kau.edu.sa).
