Mohamed Jamoussi (Arabic: محمد الجموسي) (born July 12, 1910[1] in Sfax and died on January 3, 1982) was a famous Tunisian singer, composer and poet.
Career
Jamoussi became the artistic director of the Opéra d'Alger from 1948 to 1951,[1] while still pursuing his comedic career in Nahad with Youssef Wahby. In 1952 he left Egypt and went to Europe, where he appeared in three Italian and one Indian film. After Tunisian independence, in the 1960s he returned to the country.
