He won a silver medal in the 800 m at the 2011 World Youth Championships in Athletics.[1][2]
On 18 September 2011, at the Milan Notturna meet in Italy, Aman ended David Rudishas 34-meet winning streak, beating him by seven hundredths of a second in a time of 1,43,37.[3] With this performance he also broke Leonard Kirwa Kosencha's 1,44,08 world youth record, which Leonard had been holding since 9 July 2011.
