Mohamed Attar Ad-Diba is a former footballer who played for the Egypt national football team. He scored four goals for them in the final of the 1957 African Cup of Nations, which is still a record number of goals for the final.[1] He also scored the winning goal for Egypt in their semi-final victory over Ethiopia.[2]
After retiring as a player, Ad-Diba became a noted referee, officiating at the Final of the 1968 Africa Cup of Nations.[3]
In 2007 he was included in an initial list by the Confederation of African Football of the Top 200 African footballers of all time.[4]
