Modesta di Pozzo di Forzi

Modesta di Pozzo di Forzi (died circa 1593) was an author living in Venice, Italy.^[1] She published "in no uncertain words" a book about the superiority of women to men in 1593.^[1] She died shortly after the publication and so did not hear about the great success of her book.^[1]
