Modest Fok is an R&B band who were signed to Eastwest Records in the 1990s [1]. Their debut album Love or the Single Life was released in 1992 and scored two minor R&B hits on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart .
The band made their Billboard chart debut July 11, 1992 when "Promise Me" entered the Billboard R&B chart at number nighty-nine.[2]
