Mobiado is a Canadian-based designer and manufacturer of luxury mobile phones. It specializes in CNC machined luxury phones with a modern minimalistic design.

Product Lines

Mobiado has three lines; Classic, Professional, and Grand. The lines differ in the external shape of the phone. The Classic line has round top and bottoms, the Professional line is rectangular shaped, and the Grand line is barrel shaped. Mobiado has also designed a concept phone called Mobiado CPT001 made from marble[1] .

Mobiado was the first company to use many materials, techniques, and devices with mobile phones:

  • 2004 Professional, first CNC machined phone from aircraft aluminum
  • 2005 Professional EM, first exotic wood phone[2]
  • 2007 Luminoso, first phone to use sapphire crystal buttons and the first 3G luxury phone[3]
  • 2008 Professional 105ZAF, first phone to have the whole front and back made from sapphire crystal
  • 2008 Professional 105GMT. first mechanical watch phone[4]
  • 2009 Grand 350PRL, first 3.5G and QWERTY luxury phone, and the first phone to use mother of pearl
  • 2009 Grand 350 Pioneer, first phone to use meteorite[5]

Distribution

Mobiado mobile phones are available through a network of distributors and sales outlets worldwide, including in leading designer stores such as Colette in Paris and Tchowa in Portugal. Mobiado has boutique stores in Hanoi, Vietnam, as well as in Moscow and Ekaterinburg, Russia.
