Mitsuhiro Yanagida (柳田充弘 Yanagida Mitsuhiro , born 1941 Tokyo) is a Japanese biologist, professor, and Dean of the Graduate School of Biostudies at Kyoto University.[1][2] He was elected as a Foreign member of the Royal Society on 11 May 2000.
Life
He graduated from the University of Tokyo with a D.Sc. and later studied at Geneva, Switzerland. He is now Principal Investigator of the G0 Cell Unit, at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology.[3]
He is an Honorary Fellow of the Society of Biology.[4]
