Miss Vancouver Chinatown

Miss Vancouver Chinatown was the pageant held every year to select Vancouver's representative to the Miss Chinese International pageant. Since 1996, the pageant was replaced by Miss Chinese Vancouver.

Miss Vancouver Chinatown at Miss Chinese International

Miss Vancouver Chinatown sent seven representatives to MCI. The pageant was very successful, producing one 2nd runner up, one top 5 finalist, one top 12 semifinalist, and one Miss Friendship winner. Miss Vancouver Chinatown 1992, Elaine Tse, was also Vancouver's first representative to make the top 3. Vancouver did not place for seven years, until Miss Chinese Vancouver 1999, Crystal Pan finished third.
