Before in Arema, Janů was assistant manager of Czech top club in Czech Premier League, Slavia Prague [1] to helping Karel Jarolím. He was also coaching junior team in same club.[2]
His coaching adventure in Indonesia was started in Persigo and then PSM. With PSM, he achieved as Runner-up of 2004 Indonesian Premier Division. He managing Arema on 2007 and now since 2010 until 2011 replacing Dutch winning manager, Robert Alberts. He achieved runners-up on 2011 season.
