Miri Piri Academy is a private boarding school located in Chheharta, Punjab, India. Founded in 1997 by Yogi Bhajan, the school offers Sikh religious education and academic accreditation. The name is derived from Arabic words "Miri'" for power and "Piri" for influence. The schools concept is based upon Bhajan's statement: "Discipline your mind. Train your body. Befriend your soul".

Academics
Miri Piri Academy curricula is designed to qualify for the University of Cambridge International Examination (CIE) certificate. Miri Piri offers IGCSE, AS and A-Level Certification to their students. All classes are taught in English, except Punjabi Language. Specialized program includes following classes: Computer Technology , Punjabi as a Second Language , Yogic philosophy and Practice , Sikh philosophy and Practice , Gurbani Kirtan and Tabla, Fine Arts.
Extracurricular studies include Raag, Tabla, Sitar, Bhangara, Art, photography and metal-works classes, guitar, drama, and dance.
Physical education
Students are required to follow a daily regimen of physical exercise and eat a vegetarian diet. Exercise training includes running, marching, soccer, basketball, volleyball, wrestling and kundalini yoga as well as the martial art of Gatka.
