Mir Mohtesham Ali Khan, 33 Years old, Born in Hyderabad, India. Is a professional bodybuilder with multiple titles in both national and international championships. The highest title obtained by him is Silver medal in Mr World Body Building Championship,in the heavy weight category of 90 kg plus.[1]

Mohtesham Khan, won Silver medal at the Musclemania World Tour competition 2008. It is considered as a rare tribute to the India.[2][3][4] Initially, Mohtesham got a Bronze in the Musclemania championship, of USA. later upgraded to Silver following a dope test in which his Chinese rival tested positive.[5]

Early Life

Son of Mir Abul Mani Khan (Father) and Afsara Begum (Mother),[6] Mir Mohtesham Ali Khan studied at Aliya High School and intermediate from Shadan College, he completed his civil draftsmanship in the Indo-British Academy, Hyderabad.[7]

Recruited into the South Central Railway under the sports quota.[7] Mohtesham was recently appointed as the youngest coach by the Indian Body Builders Federation (IBBF) and won four medals in different categories at the Las Vegas 2010 Musclemania contest.[8]

Bodybuilding Career

Mohtesham began bodybuilding 1994, when he was 17 years old and since then he has made a lot of sacrifices to reach this level.[7]

Diet

Daily diet includes 30 boiled eggs without yolk,1 kg chicken breasts, 12 oranges, 200gm green salad, 1 cup sweet corn, 150 gm oatmeal, 2 to 4 chapatis.[5]

Daily Exercise

The daily routine event is split into two sessions,

  • The morning two-hour is for the smaller muscles like biceps, triceps, neck, calf and abdomen.
  • The evening 2.5 hr session is for chest, shoulder, thigh and back.[5][1]

He was also the captain of 14 member Indian team, which participated in the Musclemania championship 2010[9][10][6] Mohtesham is the first body builder from Andhra Pradesh to be selected as the captain of Indian team by the Indian Body Building Federation.[9]
