Milun Tesovic Born August 6, 1985
BosniaOccupation Co-founder, CTO MetroLeap Media Inc. Milun Tesovic (born August 6, 1985) is a Canadian computer programmer and entrepreneur. At age 16, Milun created the online music website Metrolyrics, the #1 ranked lyrics website worldwide. In 2002, partner Alan Juristovski joined Milun to incorporate MetroLeap Media Inc., where Milun serves as CTO. Milun is currently a Simon Fraser University student studying Business.

Early life
Tesovic escaped the ethnic cleansing wars of Yugoslavia in the early 1990s. Milun and his family - father Miodrag, mother Rada and sister Ana - had to split up, with Miodrag having to stay in Bosnia while Milun went to Serbia to stay with an aunt and his mother and sister having to go to Montenegro. "My dad was a medic and a pharmacist, so he couldn't leave," said Milun. "I saw my mom and my sister every two weeks, but it was hard being away from my family."
The family reunited in 1995 when they emigrated to Canada. [1]
Schooling
Milun is currently enrolled at Simon Fraser University completing his Bachelor of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship.[2]
How Metrolyrics Started
Milun tells the story of how MetroLeap Media Inc. was formed:
"When I was 15, I knew that after I got my driver's license, I wanted a decent-looking car," he said. "I had my own hosting company (on the Internet), and then I started analyzing where a lot of people go on the web. There were a lot of places where music and video games were available, but what I saw was music lyrics wasn't that well represented.
"So I made a quick script with my own code and started a database of music lyrics. ... It cost $9 a month to buy up the domain."[3]
Licensing Lyrics
In April 2008 a deal was signed with Gracenote to license their database of song lyrics, making MetroLyrics the first lyrics dedicated website to offer a fully licensed, legal database. Under this licensing agreement, artists and publishers are provided compensation every time their work is viewed on MetroLyrics.

Metrolyrics receives over 48 million visitors monthly.[4]
