ITT’S for Children

Cordero is a member of the national DIR Institute faculty and serves as vice-chair to Georgia's State Interagency Coordinating Council for the Babies Can’t Wait Program, the professional advisory council of the National Cornelia De Lange Association, and the board of the Frazer Center in Atlanta, Georgia.[1] She is certified in the use of Samonas Sound Therapy {SAMONAS) and Tomatis sound therapies. Samonas Sound Therapy is a scientifically and artistically structured auditory intervention program that uses music, voice and nature sounds to re-map and restore the brain's ability to process sound. [3] Tomatis sound therapy is a method based on the discoveries of Dr Alfred Tomatis, the French ear specialist who developed the discipline called audio-psycho-phonology, meaning the psychology of speech and hearing.[4]

ITT's for Children provides occupational, physical, and speech and language therapy services for children. They provide habilitation and rehabilitation services for children in the 0 to 18 year group who experience chronic health related issues. [5] Cordero currently trains occupational therapists in children’s therapy.[2]
