Mikhail Nikolayevich Kedrov

Mikhail Nikolayevich Kedrov (1894, Moscow - 1972) was a Soviet theatrical director, actor and theatrical educator. He was awarded the titles People's Artist of Russia (1943) and People's Artist of the USSR (1948) and was the winner of four Stalin Prizes first degree (1946, 1949, 1950, 1952). He headed the Stanislavsky school^[1] and taught Yuri Lyubimov. He is buried at Vagankovo Cemetery.
