Michael Flynn McDonald (born 8 November 1950 in Glasgow, Scotland) was a footballer who played in The Football League for Stoke City as well as a number of Scottish clubs. He made nine appearances for Stoke.[1][2] Mike played in a charity game on Saturday 12 July 2008. Footballing legend Pelé honoured a fellow sporting great when he unveiled a statue of former Stoke City and England star Gordon Banks who organised the game to be played on the date the statue was unveiled. Mike took over from Gordon Banks when he became injured and made 9 appearances.
