The Midwest Humanist Conference is an event slated for August 15th, 2009 registration 8:30 am in Lincoln Nebraska at the University of Nebraska Lincoln, (UNL) , Student Union in the Centennial Room. hosted by the Lincoln Secular Humanists and coordinated by Humanist and GLBT activist Jason Frye.
By request of the Lincoln Secular Humanists, the American Humanist Association agreed to send Frye to Lincoln to speak. Frye contacted several organizations and individuals whom agreed to send speakers ranging on topics from Reproductive Rights, LGBT Rights, and community building.
