Michelle T. Hayes is the CEO, President and Treasurer of the Charleston, South Carolina-based Nine Eleven Finding Answers Foundation, Inc (NEFA Foundation), a nonprofit organization engaged in research and analysis of terrorism.^[1][2][3]

In an interview published by the Medical University of South Carolina’s weekly newsletter, The Catalyst, Hayes stated: “Everyone (except the nuns) calls me ‘Mikie.’”^[8]
