Career
Stuckmann began his career by Rot-Weiß Markania Bochum and joined later to the youth from local rival VfL Bochum. After successful season with the youth of VfL Bochum signed in summer 1998 for the city rival SG Wattenscheid 09 and earned in his first season 4 caps in the 2. Fußball-Bundesliga.[1] He played six years for SG Wattenscheid and carried in 120 games the trikot of the club. In July 2004 and the relegation of SG Wattenscheid 09 signed for the new promoted Regionalliga club Wuppertaler SV Borussia. Stuckmann was one of the best players in the Wuppertaler SV Borussia over the years and left the team after 168 games to sign for the Swiss Super League relegated club FC Vaduz,[2] who was named in the course of the season from Head Coach Pierre Littbarski as the new Captain of the club.[3]
International career
He earned 15 caps and scored two goals for the German under-20 football team.
