Gaffney, South CarolinaPolitical party Democratic Michael Roland Daniel (born April 13, 1940)[1] was a Lieutenant Governor of South Carolina. He served from 1982 to 1986 concurrently with Governor Richard Riley. He lost a race for governor in 1986 to Carroll Campbell.
