Michael Kempner

Michael W. Kempner is the founder, chairman, president and chief executive officer of independent public relations and marketing firm MWW Group, which is headquartered in New Jersey, USA. He is operating advisor to Pegasus Capital Advisors and a board member of Lighting Science Group and Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship.^{[citation needed]} Kempner holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the American University School of Communication.^[1]

Kempner, having worked with the presidential campaigns of both Hillary Clinton and and Barack Obama, now serves as the New Jersey Finance Chair for the Democratic National Committee and as a member of the Finance Council of the DNC.^[2] He is on the White House Council for Community Solutions.^[3]

Michael Kempner has won a number of industry awards, including 2008 PR Week Professional of the Year,^[4] 2009 Communications Executive of the Year (of the International Business Awards),^[5] PR Executive of the Year (of the American Business Awards),^[6] 2010 PR Agency Professional of the Year (by PR News),^[7] and 2010 Executive of the Year (by NJBiz).^{[citation needed]}
