Areas of Practice
Face and Eyelid Rejuvenation. In addition to being experience with the procedures of rhytidectomy or “facelift” surgery and blepharoplasty or eyelid rejuvenation surgery, Dr. Yaremchuk is one of few surgeons to perform subperiosteal midface lifts. This operation uses craniofacial surgery techniques where facial soft tissues are detached from the facial skeleton and re-suspended to restore a desired aesthetic.
Rhinoplasty. Dr. Yaremchuk adjusts nasal contour during both primary and secondary rhinoplasties.
Revisional Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Yaremchuk treats referred patients who are displeased with the results of their prior cosmetic surgery procedures.[2]
Facial Implants. Dr. Yaremchuk's experience with craniofacial surgery and biomaterials allows him to create new facial skeletal contours.[3][4] Dr. Yaremchuk custom carves all facial implants from basic shapes - many of which are of his own design.[5][6]
Cranio-Orbital Deformities. Dr. Yaremchuk has had several publicized successes in the area of reconstructing facial deformities including those resulting from Graves' Disease.[7][8]
Body Contouring. Including breast augmentation and reconstruction following mastectomy procedures.[9]
Tissue Engineering. Dr. Yaremchuk partakes in extensive tissue engineering research through his work at Massachusetts General Hospital. Tissue engineering involves the seeding of cells onto synthetic polymers to create three-dimensional structures, which can then be implanted to replace or augment a patient's damaged or missing parts.
