Michael James Fitzgerald, (born November 14, 1957 in Portland, Oregon) is an American writer. He is the author of 18 books,[1] and is best known for his technical books. Beside English, his technical works have been translated into Spanish, French, German, Japanese, and Chinese.[2] In addition to technical books, Fitzgerald has also written extensively for XML.com.[3] An avid journal writer, Fitzgerald has written over 6,500 pages in his private journals over the last 32 years.[4]
