Michael Anthony Lecaude Durtnall, (Born 27 January 1955) is a British Chiropractor.
Durtnall graduated from AECC, Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in 1978 as Doctor of Chiropractic and also gained the American National Boards of Examiners Diplomate, Canadian National Boards of Examiners Diplomate and Diploma of Roentgenology (Radiography and Radiology).
Durtnall founded and is chairman of Sayer Clinics, established in London in 1983 with chiropractic, spinal radiology, physical therapy and medical acupuncture clinics in Kensington, Cavendish Square and Broadgate.
He is the chiropractic pioneer in Saudi Arabia as visiting consultant to the Royal Family: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia since 1985 and he helped initiate the Saad Specialist Clinic in Al Khobar in 1993 which has now grown to become the Saad Specialist Hospital, Middle East's premier JCAHO & JIA accredited, 1,000 bed hospital with international technical and specialist facilities, centrally incorporating chiropractic care. Dr Durtnall helped to gain recognition with the Ministry of Health (MOH) and licensing privileges with the Saudi Health Counsel.
He is listed in Tatler's 'Britain's 250 Best Private Doctors' and is a listed specialist for Dance UK, coccyx.org and pelvicpain.org and has special interest in computed digital x-ray diagnosis, spinal nerve compression, scoliosis, coccyx and pelvic pain, postural rehabilitation, dance injuries and medical acupuncture.
He has contributed to back-pain awareness, ergonomics and chiropractic, speaking on BBC, ITN and Sky News and recorded educational television programmes on Back and Neck Pain, Ergonomics and Scoliosis (spinal curvature) for Bloomberg Television.
Durtnall was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine in 2010 and is a member of the British Chiropractic Association, British Medical Acupuncture Society, International Pelvic Pain Society and is registered with the General Chiropractic Council.
