Michael Coad is an Australian rules footballer who was pick up by Gold Coast as a mature age rookie with pick 2 of the 2010 Rookie Draft and was elevated to the main list for Gold Coast's first season. He made his debut against Western Bulldogs[1] in round 3 of the 2011 season.

Coad suffered a hamstring injury in his 2nd game for the Gold Coast,ruling him out for the remainder of the 2011 season. He was then delisted on 3 September 2011.
