Michael Allen Gillespie is an American Philosopher and Professor of Philosophy at Duke University. His areas of interest are Political Philosophy, Modern Continental Philosophy and History of Political Philosophy. He has published articles on Montaigne, Hegel, Nietzsche, Heidegger, American political thought and the relation between religion and politics.
