Miaohui, literally "Temple fair",[1] also known in Chinese as 庙市 or 节场, is a Chinese cultural gathering traditionally adjacent to temples. In modern times, Miaohui is usually held around the time of the Chinese New Year. Activities usually include worshiping deities, entertainment and shopping.
