Meyer Middle School

Meyer Middle School is a school in River Falls, Wisconsin.

It houses grades 6–8 and has two houses in which it separates its students, Gold and Blue. The school runs on a 8 period day, each period being 42 minutes long. The school's start time is 7:30 am and ends at 2:35 pm. It has a basis of four "core" classes: Social Studies, Math, Science, and Language Arts. The exploratory classes available to all grades are Health, Gateway to Technology, and Art. The other exploratory for 6th grade is Music, in which the students get to explore music by playing on the keyboards. 7th graders' are required to be in a class called Computer Applications, where they learn how to use many programs on the computers provided at school. In 8th grade, the students take Careers, which is a class where they plan out their career future and learn about different jobs and careers. Also available for all grades is band and choir. Meyer Middle School also has Study Halls and Literature classes.
