MetroMates

MetroMates is India's first social networking service that allows Metro Train Commuters to Interact with fellow Commuters. Launched in New Delhi on Valentines Day for Delhi Metro Commuters, MetroMates is now available in Bangalore Metro and Kolkata Metro.^[1] MetroMates allows commuters to share their travel schedule online with others and thus find a MetroMate or a Travel Partner to commute with Everyday. MetroMates was founded by Mr. Sameer Suri after he was inspired by watching a movie 'The Social Network', featuring real life story behind formation of Facebook.^[2][3]
