Methodist Church Nigeria is a major Christian denomination of Nigeria. It has about 2 million members.[1] It is a member of the World Council of Churches as well as the World Methodist Council, among others.[2] It also belongs to the Christian Council of Nigeria.[3] The church has been founded in 1962.[4] It has bishops.[5] It does charitable work.[6] Around the turn of the millennium it has grown quickly.[7]
