Metech Recycling operates eight facilities nationwide and is a leading electronics waste recycler.[citation needed] With collection and de-manufacturing locations across the country, Metech Recycling is now capable of recycling 50,000 tons of e-waste per year.[citation needed] Metech Recycling operations are located in California, Colorado, Massachusetts, Nebraska, North Carolina, and Utah. Metech Recycling is a Founder and Qualified e-Stewards of the Basel Action Network (BAN). Nearly all materials collected and de-manufactured by Metech Recycling are fully recycled for remanufacture. No recycled materials are incinerated, land-filled, or shipped abroad to be dumped. Metech Recycling provides complete data security processing and documentation of data device destruction at all its facilities. Metech Recycling resulted from the merger of Metech International and Guaranteed Recycling Xperts in 2009. The company is owned by Centillion Environmental and Recycling Limited, a Singapore-based company.[citation needed]
