As a University of Applied Sciences, the courses are rated undergraduate, a consecutive master program will start in 2009. The Business School focuses on international markets and inter-cultural collaboration in Business. Since 2009, Karlshochschule is owned by a non-commercial foundation and the Karlsruhe Chamber of Industry an Commerce (6%).
History
In 1903, the Merkur Akademie (M.A.I.) was founded. In 1992 the first Bachelor Programs were started. In 2004 "Merkur Internationale Fachhochschule - University of Applied Sciences" was founded and state approved, starting the first programs in 2005. On May 27, 2009 “Merkur Internationale Fachhochschule” was renamed to Karlshochschule International University.
