- Melling V8
-
Designed by Al Melling, the Melling V8 is derived from the AJP V8 used in the TVR Tuscan challenge and the TVR Cerbera.
The engine comes in two variants; the road version - wet sump and the race version - dry sump. To ensure the best packaging of the engine it has been designed with a 72 degree V. It has one of the highest power and torque per litre figures of any engine created. The Melling V8 is used in the Melling Wildcat making it one of the only low volume sportscars built in Britain to boast its own engine.
