Meiacanthus is a genus of combtooth blennies found in the western Pacific and Indian oceans.[2] Many species in this genus make their way into the aquarium trade.[3][4][5][6] The genus name Meiacanthus refers to most species having relatively few dorsal fin spines.[1] The type species is Meiacanthus atrodorsalis.[1]
