Maynard W. Glitman

Maynard Wayne Glitman (December 8, 1933–December 13, 2010) was an American diplomat.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, Glitman negotiated the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty in 1987. Later, Glitman served as the United States Ambassador to Belgium 1988-1991.^[1] Glitman died at the age of 77 on December 13 after a struggle with dementia.
