Maximilian Beister (born 6 September 1990 in Göttingen) is a German football player currently playing for Fortuna Düsseldorf on loan from Hamburger SV.

Career

Beister began his career 2001 with VfL Lüneburg. In 2004, he joined the Hamburger SV youth academy.[2] In the season 2008–09, he made his debut in the reserve team of HSV on 21 August 2008 against 1. FC Magdeburg.[3] Beister made his Fußball-Bundesliga debut on 22 November 2009 against VfL Bochum.[4] On 26 May 2010, Beister left the club and joined Fortuna Düsseldorf on loan.[5]

International career

He made his international debut for the Germany national Under-19 football team on 11 February 2009 in a friendly against Greece national under-19 football team and earned between November 2009 five caps. On 9 October 2009 made his debut for the Germany national under-20 football team against Switzerland national under-20 football team.[6]
