Maurizio Ferraris

Maurizio Ferraris (February 7, 1956, Turin) is an Italian philospoher and academic. He got his philosophy degree in 1979, under guidance of Gianni Vattimo. Since the early 1980s he has been involved with Jacques Derrida, which deeply influenced the development of his tought. From 1998 till 2004 he as been Directeur de programme (that is, teacher) at the Collège international de philosophie in Paris.
