Matthew Mendy (born 16 June 1983 in Serekunda) is a football defender from Gambia, he currently plays for Trönö IK in Division 3 Södra Norrland .

Career

Mendy played formerly for KFC Uerdingen 05^[3] and 1. FC Kleve.^[4] He joined after only one month with Kleve signed for Erste Liga club 1. FC Vöcklabruck.^[5]

International

He is current member of the Gambia national football team^[6] and is the Vice-Captain.^[7]
