Matthew Kennedy (born 1 November 1994 in Scotland) is a Scottish footballer playing as a defender for Scottish Premier League club Kilmarnock.

Career

Kilmarnock

A member of Kilmarnock's under 19-squad,[1] Kennedy was promoted to the first team on 29 December 2010 as a named substitute for their match against Inverness.[2] He made seven further appearances on the bench that season. The following season on 19 November 2011 aged 17 Kennedy made his first team debut as a substitute in Kilmarnock's 1-1 draw against Hibernian at Easter Road replacing Garry Hay in the 78th minute.[3]

Scotland

Kennedy has represented Scotland at U15, U16 and U17 level.[4]
