Matthew Goodwin

Matthew Goodwin is a British academic. Goodwin is a former Research Fellow at the Institute for Political and Economic Governance (IPEG) at the University of Manchester, and currentlly a Lecturer in the School of Politics and International Relations at the University of Nottingham. His research focuses on far-right extremist groups.[1] From September 2010 Goodwin will begin lecturing at the University of Nottingham.[2] He is the co-editor of The New Extremism in 21st Century Britain (Routledge).[3] He is also the author of the forthcoming New British Fascism: Rise of the British National Party (Routledge).[4] His research has appeared in the New Statesman,[5] The Guardian,[6] Westminster Hour,[7] Progress Magazine,[8] among others.
