Matthew Michael Brandeburg (born February 14, 1983) is an American author, columnist, and lecturer.

Writing

Brandeburg writes on the subjects of personal financial planning and general business management. He has written five books including Financial Planning For Your First Job, Your Guide to the CFP Certification Exam, CFP Certification Exam Practice Question Workbook, Professional Golf Management (PGM) Practice Question Workbook, and Professional Golf Management (PGM) Interactive Flashcard Book.[1]

Financial Planning For Your First Job is co-authored by Florida Marlins baseball player Burke Badenhop[2][3] and is currently in its third edition. It is endorsed by the Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy,[4] which is a 501(c)(3) non-profit coalition of national organizations seeking to advance the financial literacy of pre-kindergarten through college-aged students. Brandeburg created and developed the class Financial Planning in your 20s and 30s at Ohio State University based on his book Financial Planning For Your First Job. He serves as senior lecturer for the class.[5]

Matthew Brandeburg writes a weekly column for Young Money Magazine,[6] and wrote segments for the PBS special broadcast titled Your Life, Your Money hosted by Donald Faison in 2009.[7][8]
