Playing stats at CFL.ca Matthew John Walter (born July 20, 1989 in Calgary, Alberta) is a Canadian football running back for the Calgary Dinos of the University of Calgary. He was drafted 34th overall by the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League in the 2011 CFL Draft and was signed by the team on May 26, 2011.[1] In 2008, Walter was the Canada West nominee for the Hec Crighton Trophy after taking over as the starting running back from Anthony Woodson after he went down with injury.[2]
