Matt Graham is a Scrabble expert who represents the United States of America in international competition. He was the 1997 World Scrabble Championship runner-up.^[1] He was featured prominently in the 2001 book Word Freak and in the 2004 documentary film Word Wars^[2]. As a stand-up comedian, he appeared several times on Late Night with Conan O'Brien.^[3] He also has television writing credits on Saturday Night Live,^[4] Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Chain Reaction, and Grand Slam. Originally from Indiana, he currently lives in Queens, New York.
