Matopeni is a slum in Kenya. It is on the outskirts of Nairobi. [1] Its residents belong to a variety of ethnic groups. [2] The population of Matopeni exceeds 30,000 persons. [3] The situation in Matopeni is serious, even by Nairobi slum standards. [4] A Matopeni Secondary School exists. [5]
