Old Man Ban

Old Man Ban is one of the main protagonists in the series Qin's Moon. His hardworking attitude often clashes with Tian Ming's easy-going and lazy attitude and often situations between them turn into hilarious outbursts of shouts and force. His knowledge of machinery often pays out in the end, whether it be for entertainment purposes or for rescuing people.

Personality and Traits

As depicted in the TV series, Qin's Moon, he is quite strict and grumpy. Tian Ming often annoys him, and the two of them are always shown horsing around. He takes pride in his carpentry works and refuses to let Tian Ming play with them.

Abilities

Though possessing no combat abilities, his knowledge of mechanics is astounding. He has the ability to build large wooden birds that are capable of flight. He is also a very good carpenter.

Background

He was initially a carpenter in his early years, until he lost his left arm in an accident. Since then, he devoted his life to the study of machines, and successfully replaced his lost arm with a mechanical one. It is unknown how he became affiliated with the Mohists.

Plot

--Plot Details For Season 1--
His first known appearance was in Episode 1, as he was shown talking to a fellow colleague regarding Ge Nie's intentions & the identity of Tian Ming. He later reappeared in Episode 3, interrupting Tian Ming from destroying Sister Rong's sign. Later on, he discussed with Ge Nie on Tian Ming's curse disease, and was surprised to see that Ge Nie had a friend. Soon afterwards, he received and forwarded orders from the Mohist Leader to Sister Rong. The orders informed them that Wei Zhuang (TV Series Character) had reappeared and that it was the perfect opportunity to capture him, as he was a wanted man.

It is shown in an episode of season 2, that he was coordinating the defense of the Mohist hideout against Qin troops. [1]
