Massimiliano Alajmo (born May 6, 1974) is an Italian chef. He is the youngest in history in Italy to have been awarded three stars by the Michelin Guide, in 2002.

Biography
Belonging to the antique family of restaurateurs from the Italian region of Veneto and having received a diploma in hospitality sector, in 1990 he decides to widen his experience working in a restaurant “Ja Navalge” of Alfredo Chiacchetti in Moena, in 1992 in “Auberge de l’Eridan” of Marc Veyrat in Veyrier du Lac d’Annecy and in 1993 in “Les Prés d'Eugénie” of Michel Guérard, in Eugénie les Bains.
In 1993 he returns to Italy with his brother Raffaele Alajmo and dedicates himself to the family restaurant "Le Calandre" in Sarmeola di Rubano (Padova), which gets the second Michelin star in 1996 (The first Michelin star has been awarded to his mother, Rita Chimetto, in 1992), thus becoming the youngest chef in European history to receive such acknowledgement.
In November 2002 the restaurant has been awarded its third star which confirms Massimiliano to be one of the greatest chefs of Europe.
